An MTA approval is required by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) when a property is marked "MTA restricted". MTA juridiction applies when a construction is within 200 feet of a transit line or other railway right-of-way located on the first floor and/or below. Therefore, the MTA should give his approval in order to complete DOB application.
