Brazilian Consulate of New York
M.Arch Architects wins Brazilian Consulate facility design and construction commission. It is an honor to be part of this team representing design and a personnel gateway between two great nations.
The Brazilian consulate is within the Daily News building a landmark skyscraper designed by Raymond Hood architect of Rockefeller Center. This is the same building of the fictional ‘Daily Planet’ where journalists Clark Kent and Louis Lane worked in the ‘Superman’ comic strip and movie Superman.
We are particularly grateful to the Brazilian consulate for emphasizing our working designing a green wall that is in part inspired by the ‘Green Revolution’ taking place in Brazil during the 1960s that changed Brazil’s agriculture to being a world leader in exports.
