NYU Poly students simulate construction scheduling using innovative BIM software
Adjunct professor March Chadwick guides civil engineering students at NYU Poly to create animations of bridges and a high-rise residential building using innovative BIM software. These animations use the BIM models and its components along with construction tasks to simulate an estimate of real-time construction phases in the field. M.Arch architects can apply this software capability to more precisely estimate construction costs and timing towards completion of real projects, expanding the possibility for cost-effective scheduling strategies.
