Brooklyn Bridge Park Empire Stores Competition

M.Arch Architects is pleased to be among the competing proposals for the adaptive-reuse of 300,000sf DUMBO Empire Stores in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. With riverfront view of the Manhattan skyline our proposal embraces the public park with cultural, and commerical activities that will rejuvinate and restore vibrant uses to the abandoned Empire Stores. M.Arch Architects visitted the site numerous times, met with Park officials, and conducted several interviews with local citizens, businesses, and cultural institutions. M.Arch Architects "On the Waterfront" Proposal included 30,000sf Museum of Boxing, health and recreation sports center, Chelsea Market type stores, and 200,000sf of commerical office space.
